Who Is PC Sense ?!

Bruce Raley, the founder of PCSense, opened a computer repair and retail shop in Oakland, California, in 1979 ~ just as the computer revolution was gathering steam. Originally a dealer for PC's even before IBM came into the market, Bruce worked on every machine from Atari to Osborne to NorthStar to Commodore. (Remember any of those ?! ) Since that time we have worked on almost every brand of PC ever made.

What all this means to you is that the PC Sense Institutional Memory is deep. The Experience for solving-your-problems-of-all-kinds is long and wide. And the likelihood of being able to take care of anything you face is very high. Our years of experience in repairing failed drives are put to use on a daily basis. Our knowledge of computer architecture and circuitry, as well as our continuing investment in being experts in software and file structures, has enabled us to become the place to come to if your machine "needs to see the doctor". We serve both Sacramento & El Dorado Counties from our operations in Sacramento and Cameron Park. We deliberately limit ourselves to being a local operation, and turn away networking business from out of the area and from the Bay Area... Why? Simple: We want to keep a tight control on the quality and reliability of our products and services, and keep it local - where we live. So we can get to you and get you taken care of timely and promptly. And so we don't have to waste a lot of time traveling to supervise service far afield.
